The relevance of that report in question is to the claim that Wilson lied, not anything Fitzgerald does. That is a separate question - the Bushites now spin as if Woodward's knowledge proves that Plame's identity was generally known to reporters, known before Libby started to talk about it. Which is bunk on its own, of course. What's interesting is that Woodward's informer (who doesn't think it was Cheney?) was willing to talk on his own to Fitzgerald - he either feels very secure for some reason, or feels endangered even more for another reason. *Lunatic*, n.
