Question for you, and anyone else who cares to respond. In the event of such an asset bubble bursting in the US, what are your thoughts on what will happen to the Euro? and the European economy in general?

The Economist has also written several articles on a housing bubble throughout the globe. Australia, Britain, in Paris, and definitely the US. Some of their recent articles have alluded to a recent decline in UK prices as the beginning of a worldwide trend of lowering house prices... don't know exactly where this fits in, but from that perspective the asset bubble is not only in the US and thus could have depression points in other countries should it burst or begin to deflate...

Thoughts?

Picked up FT this evening. Scratch comment on recent decline in UK housing prices -FT reporting 3.3% increase in UK housing prices.
