So why are we letting psychopaths run our governments? Unfortunately, that does not make sense.
Your series reveals that systematic torture, and the cover-up and the excuses for it, have been present from the very beginning. Almost, the wars were undertaken to give excuse to the torture they wanted to commit.
Yes, the US really has sunk into depravity. Some decades now--and it is begining to show. The Fates are kind.
Nor does it really help in arguing against them if you think, "It doesn't matter what they say, because they are psychopath, so anyway." That kind of thought-frame debases any rationale.
