Some pictures of the Alaska Way in Seattle, which came to my notice because Washington state is currently discussing (hey, even running a referendum) on whether to eliminate the gas tax which was voted earlier this year to, among other things, pay for the renovation (and the earthquake proofing) or replacement of that heavily trafficked bridge:

So with an old, earthquake threatened bridge, wobbly definitely applies, I suppose...

Good call! That bridge is definitely wobbly. It was actually damaged in the last big earthquake and should probably have been replaced already. Instead, because our state budget is so tight, we're still using it and hoping nothing happens.

Maybe we can eventually make language a complete impediment to understanding. -Hobbes

I just now saw this on dKos. NWprogressive wrote a diary about a demonstration there. It has some photos, too.
