I was trying to find the computer lab at the university, but instead of asking if there was a computer on this floor, I asked if there was a computer in this country. The janitor laughed really hard when I said that.

Nope this happened while I was studying in Pamplona. The joke is that I was trying to say
piso
which is a Spanish word for floor, (
planta
is the more appropriate word) but got tongue tied and said
pais
which means country. You know the American mucking up the language implying that these backward Spaniards don't have computers, oops....
