A more interesting question at this juncture imo is: Would Schröder be willing to head up a minority red/green coalition having tacit support from the Left Party (and would the Lefts be prepared to tolerate such a coalition)? The fact is that what we're experiencing right now is a top-down disaster. -Paul Krugman
