Here is what I would expect:
1 Greens 80% 2 Left Party 75% 3 SPD 50% 4 FDP 30% 5 CDU/CSU 5% (heh)
Making the test, I first looked at the result without weighting (estimating the bar lengths on the graph):
1 Left Party 80% 2 SPD 78% 3 Greens 78% 4 FDP 55% 5 CDU/CSU 40%
Well, that result is a bit bizarre. So here is it with weighting - now the sequence is just right:
1 Greens 83% 2 Left Party 81% 3 SPD 77% 4 FDP 50% 5 CDU/CSU 37% *Lunatic*, n. One whose delusions are out of fashion.
I sent this test to my mother (the only other in the family who I assumed would care about it), she got SPD on top and the rest about like me - she expected FDP on top.
What I don't understand is how CDU could score higher for me than for my mother or you. *Lunatic*, n. One whose delusions are out of fashion.
My (historical) ideal of a party is the USPD (Independent Social Demoratic Party), which was founded by anti-war Social Democrats during WW I in opposition to pro-war SPD and existed until the early 20s. There has never been a political party with a higher intellectual capacity than the USPD. And it did not shy away from fundamental political debates - debates which were cut short in all other parties. See e.g. the discussions between Karl Kautsky and Eduard Bernstein about a modern interpretation of Marxism. Discussions too sophisticated to be confined to left-right schemes.
Today, I'm actually thinking about voting for the Left Party. Thus, I think my wahl-o-mat result is quite ok.
