I sent this test to my mother (the only other in the family who I assumed would care about it), she got SPD on top and the rest about like me - she expected FDP on top.

My (historical) ideal of a party is the USPD (Independent Social Demoratic Party), which was founded by anti-war Social Democrats during WW I in opposition to pro-war SPD and existed until the early 20s. There has never been a political party with a higher intellectual capacity than the USPD. And it did not shy away from fundamental political debates - debates which were cut short in all other parties. See e.g. the discussions between Karl Kautsky and Eduard Bernstein about a modern interpretation of Marxism. Discussions too sophisticated to be confined to left-right schemes.
Today, I'm actually thinking about voting for the Left Party. Thus, I think my wahl-o-mat result is quite ok.
