Any places you'd recommend x-posting?

My instinct was that I write for ET, if I wanted to write somewhere else, I would be doing so. But, if x-posting will help with the promotion of the site, I guess I ought to do it.

I thought about the big orange, but there's a small core of self-styled experts who rather put me off discussing Islam over there.

OK, there's no current open thread there now, and I started to link to this diary as a comment in a book-related thread, but I decided (a) the comment was too long and (b) it would probably get missed by a lot of folks, so I did a diary summarizing your summary & linking back here. Well, writing is an attempt to communicate, but it feels very devoid of context sometimes. Writing in a community where you comment a fair bit seems more like actual communication.

I guess we can see that:

a) I'll never write the Great UKian novel

and

b) I'm not cut out for journalism either.
