One thing that has not been picked up much by the linked translations is the discomfort and silence of the Swiss government. My guess is this has not only to do with the snooping on the Embassies. They are worried because to many Swiss citizens might remember the big scandal about the "Fichen Affäre" approx. 20 years ago when many heads were rolling because of the government snooping on its citizens. The government might remember that very well too, as one of the current counselers, Moritz Leuenberger, was the attorney leading the investigation. However, this part of the Blick story is not relevant for the prison story, though my guess the snooping might make some waves over the coming days here in Switzerland.
