Overhanging roof of the Senedd

The Senedd is the new Welsh Assembly building, completed a few months ago and is a truly stunning piece of architecture, having already won a bunch of awards.

I love photos that play with edges, lines, light and dark. This is pretty much perfection.

It's such a beautiful structure to play with. Oddly enough if you try to take a photo of the entire thing, it just doesn't work (partly because you can't get a clear shot of it without something making the background look messy). But if you focus on smaller aspects of it, it is so easy to photograph.
