It is my first office Christmas do of the season, tonight. Then an office party tomorrow afternoon.  I have a gathering on saturday with work colleagues and then two more office do's next week.

It does seem a tad excessive really. This is what partnership working is all about.

I came home early so's I could get my Bigos stew going. I'd made the stock on tuesday (a pork knuckle and some goat boiled in cider in the pressure cooker for 3 hours).

Now for the stew proper, bacon, sausage, blood sausage, duck with onions, mushrooms, sauerkraut and leave to simmer for 3 - 4 hours.

The Constitution reflects our founders views of a secular government, protecting the freedom of any belief or unbelief. The historian, Robert Middlekauff, observed, "the idea that the Constitution expressed a moral view seems absurd. There were no genuine evangelicals in the Convention, and there were no heated declarations of Christian piety."
