Well , you are right, it wasn't me who wrote it. That's why I tried to find different source of history not only Serbian side of the story and I put USA Congress Library ...unfortunately it turned to be temporarily link...
I do hope more of you people from neighboring countries will come on this topic to argue your case  and those who had no idea what's going on under the surface will understand what a HELL Balkan actually is and was during history. All tho it was not my intention to discus Serbian-Bulgarian relations here...

If you go to Serbian Orthodox church site you will find this :

During a state visit to France in 1934, the king was assassinated by an agent of the Croatian terrorist organization, the Ustasa.

So they do not mention VMRO on this occasion.

Quote:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_of_Yugoslavia

On account of the deaths of three members of his family on a Tuesday, Alexander refused to undertake any public functions on that day. On Tuesday 9 October 1934 he had no choice, as he was arriving in Marseille to start a state visit to the Third French Republic, to strengthen the defensive alliance against Nazi Germany. When being driven in a car through the streets along with French Foreign Minister Louis Barthou, a gunman, Vlada Georgieff, stepped from the street and shot the King, the Minister and the chauffeur.
... The assassin Vlada Georgieff -- driver of the leader of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization, Ivan Mihailov -- was cut down by the sword of a mounted French policeman, then beaten by the crowd. By the time he was removed from the scene, he was already dead.

And here about VMRO:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internal_Macedonian_Revolutionary_Organization
The Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (in Macedonian: Vnatrešna Makedonska Revolucionerna Organizacija, Внатрешна Македонска Револуционерна Организација, in Bulgarian: Vatreshna Makedonska Revolyutsionna Organizatsiya, Вътрешна македонска революционна организация, ВМРО), commonly known in English as IMRO, was the name of a revolutionary political organization in the Macedonia and Thrace regions of the Ottoman Empire, as well as in Bulgaria, and after 1913 in the Macedonian regions of Greece and Yugoslavia. In the 1990s it was revived as a nationalist political party in both the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria.

And this:

Quote:
http://www.fotw.net/flags/bg-polit.html
VMRO
Flag with initials used on it. The Bulgarian/Macedonian name that sounds something like "Vnutrashnya Makedonska Revolucionarna Organizacija". BMRO fought primarily against Turks for the independence of Bulgaria and Macedonia, and as might be seen from the flag, the ideology was anarchic-revolutionary (as were the methods). The group was soon (at the beginning of the 20th century) split between those wanting Macedonia a part of Bulgaria and those struggling for the independence of Macedonia. Therefore, to cut the story short, today we have VMRO both in modern Bulgaria and Macedonia (where it is called VMRO-DPMNE), both being modern democratic parties that have long forsaken their anarcho-revolutionary methods.

To be honest my granddad was born on Serbian/Bulgarian border and as they told me it was never easy to live in that area...People used to change their names in order to survive all the changes of that border in history...and all wars...

thanks for that. You do make me think hard about myself today. :) I understand your intentions and feelings about the issue.

From outside, it probably looks like a HELL to be living in. But do you also consider the fact that the GREAT POWERS fan the fires of HELL?

Of course it was and is HELL that great powers stirred all the time and they always "put petrol on top on this fire"...
I don't want to redirect this conversation to Bulgarian - Serbian history but I have to let you read this and I found it in Library of Congress:
Quote:

In October 1934, a Bulgarian assassinated Aleksandar in Marseille. The assassin, an Ustase agent, had received assistance from Italy and Hungary. Yugoslavs genuinely grieved for their king. Even Aleksandar's opponents feared that his death would result in the disintegration of Yugoslavia. Croats and Slovenes especially feared subjection to Italy.

So there is a truth in both statement .He was Bulgarian and Ustase agent...
