As for Cintegabelle (village a couple of miles from where I live) it's not a poubelle, but a part of France and of Europe as respectable as Paris or wherever you are. However, Jospin resigned from his mandates here immediately after his defeat in 2002, and hasn't been here since. He spends his time between the Ile de Ré and the 18e arrondissement of... Paris.
