The two swedish towns of Forsmark and Oskarshamn, each home of a nuclear plant, are fighting to get the radioactive waste buried in their backyard. It is government work and it is longterm employment. Good for the town.

So I would say you are right. Nuclear plants are just another thing to get used to and once you are nuclear work is just like any other work.

A vote for PES is a vote for EPP! A vote for EPP is a vote for PES! Support the coalition, vote EPP-PES in 2009!

And that is just not some low level waste (which is like having an ordinary construction waste dump) but high level waste, the spent fuel itself.

I am rooting for the home team, go Forsmark! ;)

Peak oil is not an energy crisis. It is a liquid fuel crisis.
