``I express deep regret over the fact that uninvolved persons have been hit," Major General Yoav Galant, Israel's southern commander, told reporters yesterday. <snip> ``We shall try to find a way to ensure not to harm the uninvolved."

(From Boston.com.)

That's a new one, Yoav, you miserable bastard : "uninvolved persons". In what way were these victims of Israeli Defence Forces not "involved"? They lived crammed between Israel and the sea and were murdered there too. They were "involved" from their birth to their death, Yoav. And your "war" pretext is pathetic. Did somebody get an itchy finger to see these people on a beach that not long ago was Israeli-colonised? Or -- excuse my tinfoil, it's playing me up -- was this a deliberate provocation aimed at scuppering Mahmoud Abbas' referendum attempt?
