Chavez is a paper tiger. He needs the oil revenues more than the US needs his oil.

What he does with the oil revenues is another much less paper tigery issue.

Peak oil is not an energy crisis. It is a liquid fuel crisis.

Trade is a win-win process. Here I see the process as exactly the same as with Putin gas and Europe (minus the pipeline issue).
