Translated from my latest blog post:

In sweden general elections will take place september 17th 2006. It looks like that swede honor their reputation of "pirate".

According to Forbes : SWEDISH VOTE Ruling Social Democrats accuse Liberals of hacking its computers

STOCKHOLM (AFX) - Sweden's ruling Social Democratic Party has reported hundreds of incidents of unauthorized computer access to the police, and alleges that 'someone linked to the Liberal Party' had hacked into its internal network, reported Dagens Industri.

The hacking enabled unauthorized people to view secret Social Democrat (SD) information about strategies and plans for the forthcoming Sept 17 election campaign.

And do not forget to read the pirate party manifest :

[...] Protected integrity in an open society

The development of technology has made sure Sweden and Europe stand before a fork in the road. The new technology offers fantastic possibilities to spread culture and knowledge all over the world with almost no costs. But it also makes way for the building of a society monitored at a level unheard of up until now. [...]

Will they get the required 5% to get a seat? That would very interesting for the debate on Europe and citizens in the internet age.

Always liked underdogs and pirates.

SKOD who occasionally diaries here, is a pirate, I believe

Maybe she'll have something to say on it too.
