although you can probably watch any part and find one or two examples of things that are utterly, utterly ludicrously disasterous. Life should consist in at least fifty percent pure waste of time, and the rest doing what you please.
I'll never forget during one of my trips to Jordan in the mid 90s. By a quirk of fate I got a car ride from a Jordanian or Palestinian guy (I had never actually met face to face) who had rather close ties to the Iraqi establishment (take my word for this). The guy was very polite and we had an interesting conversation about Sadam Hussein. One of the memorable things he said about America's unhappiness with Iraq was "you know there are worse things than Sadam." I suppose a few people wish they had had that little bit of inconsequential advice about now. I can swear there ain't no heaven but I pray there ain't no hell. _ Blood Sweat & Tears
