If I'd just got the camera out a couple of minutes earlier it would have been better, half the red had gone by the time I'd got out and over the fields.

Ah still, very nice. I often catch the sky turning but it is mostly hidden by apartment blocks and I am too lazy to wander 15 minutes down the road to get a better view from the river.

Magnifico, why does my admission of laziness get a 4? You should be telling me off for it and smacking me on the wrist to make me go out and take more photos!

It's probably down to a fear of the competition

Oh, why the 4? Because I can sympathise with laziness.

I was able to cull through my picture collection this week for 'light' photos, but what would be ideal for me would to get the "assignment" for next week's subject today. That'd force me to go do something new, rather than raid the digital archive.

I keep intending to give us all an assignment to do but then the week flies by and it is friday again before I know it.  I think LEP is in charge of next week's photoblog.

How about My Square Mile?  ie a small series of photos that will show everybody the key features of where you live.  We could find out so much about each other!

Anyone who wants to should be able to participate in that.

Great idea. But I'm in France you know; so we'll have to call it "my square kilometre" or we can just say  "my neighborhood."

'My neighbourhood' and I'll let you get away with that!

You British are always trying to be French with your spelling. I don't understand why you don't want the euro.

I don't mind the euro.  Just not in my country.

That is a sterling example of closed-mindedness.

I refuse to use the label "snark" on Eurotrib. If some people on the most intellient blog on the internet don't smell my snark, they need to take snark-hunting lessons.

Where can one get snark hunting lessons?
