No way!  I'm really surprised, it was just a guess.  I knew it wasn't the "famous" (relatively speaking) Marshall statue, but I couldn't think of who else it might have been.  I really should have recognized him, though; I used to work about eight blocks away from his "city" house!

I haven't spent a whole lot of time in Warrenton, but I've got a sibling who lives not terribly far away from there.  I hope you have a great visit!

It's early Saturday morning in Delaplane Va. I'm staying at my partner's house. I couldn't resist showing him our photoblog of last month where you recognized the picture of the Biograph. Strange things do happen on the internet; he was touched. I also hadn't realized that you had linked to the "ode" to the Biograph by one of our former employees; I missed it.
As for a little history his house was built by John Marshall for one of his sons. It burnt down early last century but was rebuilt on the original foundation.
I took some photos of the Marshall house, and will try to post them here. But I don't have broadband now so they might have to wait 'till I return to town later today,
