There is a lock separating the Canal St. Martin from the Seine, so the Port de Plaisance is as calm as a puddle.
The second picture in the series is of the Lock end of the basin.

Thanks all for the compliments. LEP's idea of neighborhood photos was a good one.

In my "neighbourhood" was In Wales' idea. But the ET spell checker wouldn't accept it so we had to go with In my "neighborhood." You know, I always go with authority.

Was it was my idea? I think I developed it out of something somebody else said. I can't remember now. Let's collectively take credit for it, since we all inspire each other!
