Jerome, you should have a talk with the chief economist of the IEA, Fatih Birol, who has been peak oil-aware for several years. I could tell you who told me this, but then I would have to kill you. ;-)

That's a great interview, thanks! I even went and looked at the original Le Monde one (and understood 95 % of it), which proves that the school french can be called out of the abyss when there is a real interest.

It seems Mr. Birol is not only talking off the record anymore.
