Thanks LEP. I like trying to grab Cartier-Bresson style "decisive moments", but, with montage, there's a different kind of satisfaction; it's a more considered kind of creativity - the constructed image. Words, such as the quotation, can pin down specific meanings.

 In this case I liked the way the pale images of him make him seem like a ghostly reminder, and the front and rear angles combined - for me - suggest the horse prancing around and his control of all of Normandy.

Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner - that I moved to Nice.
