  • The most active subway line of Paris (the "1") carries 160 millions passenger a year using now some MP89 720 passengers (242 seated) per train.
  • For Tramway in Paris (Citadis 302) I found 213 passengers (48 seated)
  • Double Bus can take up to 160 passengers (model?), 4.5 times less than subway, single bus us around 80 passenger maximum.

Yes, we had a discussion of trolley buses here a while ago ... but the US Federal push for BRT instead of electric light rail is for diesel bus systems.
