We have now a unique strong and huge media group on th left (PRISA) Imagine Le Monde having the most important media company  in the center-left on social issues and the center/center-right on economic issues.. supporting constantly the social-democrats... well.. this is PRISA.. with a medicre TV channel but the most important radio network (a la Clear Channel) and the most important newspaper (EL Pais)

well.. ZP and media friends are promoting a left to left newspaper.. the name of the new newspaper will be "El Publico".... it will be associated with the MEdiaPro group whcih own a new TV station that the socailist government licensed last year... financed by TV production units (as if Pixar would suddenly control a TV channel like NBC).

What will be the new allainces? Would the PRISA group and MEDAIPRO fight for the same constituents...? Will PRISA move to the center-rigth on social issues?.. or will it attack the government on economic issues fro the left?...

The fact is that it is very well known that MEDIAPRO and PRISA have now a media war about football emission rights.. a very complicated story about paying footbal clubs and agreeemtns and contracts regardign who can emit footbal spanish matches.

I have no links.. so you do not have to beleive me me....

But I am wondering....are these kind of things/rumours happening in France... or Germany? are new newsgroups appeariing int he left.. with strong financial backing?
