My grandson at his second birthday party, Nov 2007.

My father (in the dress) and his two brothers near their tent home, about 1920.  Their father was working in the Northern Louisiana/East Texas oil fields; he would die of pneumonia the next year and leave my pregnant grandmother to take care of four children. Their baby sister had already passed away at 1 year of age.
