If a more natural evolution of the blog population were allowed, we would probably see the average number of sock puppets per human user gradually increase, as one army of sock puppets troll-rated solitary human users into oblivion. Then a final battle between the last remaining armies would play itself out across the blog, and the last puppeteer left standing would inherit everything.
Who can deny that sock-puppet survival of the fittest would produce a fitter blog than simply leaving it all forever under the control of whoever happens to own the Scoop software? Qui vit sans folie n'est pas si sage qu'il croit.
