I am starting to think that Obama's election is a done deal.

Then, what will make a real difference is not the Presidetial race -- but Senate and House.

Now, here is a complicated question to our US poll afficiados. What I am curious about is NOT whether Dems will gain a majority (that also seems a done deal). But the composition of that majority behind(?) Obama. So,

  1. Do you have some source with a statistic on Dem candidates' belonging to party wings? (Blue Dog, liberal, DLC and whatnot?)
  2. Even better, some idea on how the likely to be elected Dem candidates are distributed?

(This may or may not modify my doubt-filled expectations regarding the future operation of Obama's presidency.)

If you find a distribution table, you can compare with the polls at Electoral-vote.com: President, Senate, House Updated Daily. Many house races lacks polls altogether though.

A vote for PES is a vote for EPP! A vote for EPP is a vote for PES! Support the coalition, vote EPP-PES in 2009!
