Since I love the water feature at the top of the page,
I`m posting a water feature I just built, & which is almost completed.
It feels like I created my personal photo subject studio.
I have a number of waterfalls (not in these images), including a hot waterfall into thesaltwater spa pool. I have yet to introduce the larger fish, turtles crayfish, etc, but it should be a complete ongoing ecosystem within another month. Then it just evolves over the years.
I just provide the "starter yeast".
The stems on the white blossom are under water, with the sun reflecting off the pond surface

nice landscaping, knucklehead!

can we see shots of the other waterfalls too, please
(and the hot tub!)?

it sounds a bit like you share your spa pool with the turtles and crayfish, did i get that right?

melo,
In the pond/spa pictured above, there are two systems involved.
One, a jacuzzi with water temps up to 104 degrees F, including a hot waterfall.
This is also a salt water system.
Two, surrounding this is a pond with ambient temperature water.
I don`t have the final touches going right now as I`m building up the bio- load slowly in the live pond. I have a lot of the plants in & some small fish to create the biological  base for the addition of more & more animals. The only time the two systems might be connected is if one tried to steam crayfish in the spa.
The following iages are a compilation of some of my past pond/ fall projects.
Although that is not the main focus of what I do, I always show my clients, my ponds & sell them,(usually) on the beneficial advantages of having a pond. It`s either that, or a fish tank, from freshwater to full coral reefs.
I put 20 or so more images related to ponds/falls linked to any of these images.
Please remember that the project I`m on at this time is not completed, but I promise to show you the totality of it when it is done, including fully planted.

Thank you very much.
I imagine I`ll be seeing more of yours, tomorrow across the pond.

Wow, Knucklehead, you're like the da Vinci of water features, and your photography is outstanding too.  A real renaissance man! Love the water in all these shots.
