There's the Bay Bridge to the left, leading to SF, and Mt Tamalpais [view from] and Alcatraz to the right. The Golden Gate Bridge is barely visible.

From Europe, it's easy enough to observe the Bay during the afternoon and evening, but to see the sun set, you'll need to stay up until around 2am :-)
