Don't know if I should laugh or cry. On one hand, Keynesianism is still total anathema to the SPD estalishment (which BTW can again safely count Clement among its members... the party expulsion failed). On the other hand, what he is reallyrejecting is not serious Keynesianism but corporate welfare.

Just stepped out of the SPD.

I'm happy to see him go, but it would have been much better had he been kicked out. The centrists in the SPD never learnt their lesson on Clement and now he uses the chance to stab them in the back, in public, again. They should be happy this is early and no one (hopefully) will pay attention to Clement come the election.
