They show you page one on the site but don't let you see pages 2-4 before they get your info.  Do you feel it has any value as a "contact method" into the Obama machine or is it a waste of time?

In the end, might makes right. Nothing has changed since the caveman.

Well, since it was sent out to all of the supporters, they already had our contact info.

Yes, they will use your contact info to ask for money.  They will also use it to keep you up to fate about what they are doing.  But the way the survey reads, they wanted feedback and ideas from people who actually worked on the campaign - to keep those supporters involved in the process.

If you are not willing to sign up with the campaign, you are probably not going to be considered a "supporter" and you will notice that the survey is called a "Supporter Survey".  If I recall correctly, they asked what you did, how you were involved, to rate your experiences with different aspects of the campaign, tell them what you thought worked best & least, and ideas for how to keep the "movement" going, what to do next, etc.

There is a sep. page for regular citizens to post their ideas:

Yes, you have to give them you info.  If that freaks you out, you probably should not be going around filling out online surveys...

Come, my friends, 'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.

The change.gov site looks interesting.  I'm not the political sort, not interested in "keeping the movement going".  Hell, they've got enough bodies to do that.  I just want to be in the system so that a year from now when all hell is breaking loose and they realize that the old bulls**t is not solving the current problems, I might represent one of the "ideas laying about" that they might approach in order to pull their fat out of the fire.

Once again, thank you.

In the end, might makes right. Nothing has changed since the caveman.
