CH - of course we're behind you! You are still dreaming and working on a better future. The only thing that stops me turning into an old fart is the belief that some things can be still fixed and that all the experience and confusion of my previous life might prove useful in some small way, somewhere.

Old Farts?  check out Udo Lindenberg; Der Geiss ist Heiss. (Geezers are Hot!)

Well, i couldn't find it, but here's Udo with another famous Geezer with trenchcoats.  We rule, sorta.

I found another version from the one i was looking for.  Couldn't find it because geezer is not Geiss, it's Greis.

But it's still Geezers are Hot.

And you know, i'm not at all certain how to translate Der Greis, but Anya, who "stands on me," swears it's Geezer.

Us Geezers are not know for our accuracy, except in analyzing turbine technology innovations.

Thinking of it, I have no good idea, either. Beolingus gives "old man" or "geriatric". At any rate, I believe the German word has positive/reverent connotations, am not sure about "geezer" in English (or maybe I'm too much influenced by Granpa Simpson's image).

'Geezer' depends on who is speaking. If cockney, the object is simply a 'bloke' - a standard male. In the US there is an additional 'old' attached to the meaning.
