Thinking of it, I have no good idea, either. Beolingus gives "old man" or "geriatric". At any rate, I believe the German word has positive/reverent connotations, am not sure about "geezer" in English (or maybe I'm too much influenced by Granpa Simpson's image). *Lunatic*, n.
