Trying to figure things out.
On the assumption that Republicans don't quite manage to steal the election despite the massive disenfranchisement and voter fraud which we just know they will undertake and have in fact already undertaken, I'm counting LEP in. If they do manage to steal the election, we'll intronise LEP to the order of Thélème, where sex, good food and good wine are more than encouraged. Motto, for those who don't read Rabelais : do as you like.

But will you come on your own, LEP, or will, say, Esther, celebrate alongside you (or witness your intronisation)?

Redstar, I know you're right on the other side of the town BUT Nation is reasonably quickly reached by RER. Are you in?

Linca, well, if you come I guess I should count two, so what is it? None or two?

I'd like to book today, so hopefully you will be browsing soon.

Given that 538.com gives McCain a 1.9% chance of winning I think it's reasonably safe to count me in, although I do hate to jinx the election and am furiously knocking on my wooden table as I type this. By the way, I'm not superstitious.

OK, let's put it like this: if McCain is frauded into the White House, I will definetely need your friendly presence to cheer me up, so let's say you would come anyway, please?

Seriously, I remember 4 years ago and I was a mess for days.
Then of course, I remember May 2007, but at least I could prepare for the misery as it was at least fully expected.

Gotta check with the wife.

She'll want to come too, then it'll be with the car, Nation is easy to get to via the quais anyway...

OK, I have a preliminary reservation for 7, this would bring it to 8.
I'm waiting for the last thumbs-up from Geezer too (it's apparently a 4 cm. deal), so you're not holding me back just yet.

I suggest that you all meet at my place (78, rue des Pyrénées) for an apéritif at 8 or just before, and it's so close to the Restaurant that we'll then walk there. I'm thinking of reserving for 8.30.

Now, you can drop me an email for digicode ;-)

Can I (please?) get a confirmation from Redstar and Geezer?

My wife is out, if I come I will come alone.

I've got a bout of the flu though, may hold me back. I'll drop you an email one way or another tomorrow PM.
