A more impressive mandate in the popular vote would have been useful. It doesn't look like it's going to be anywhere near the 7-8% we were promised.

I have not done the maths as in virginia, Indiana and Florida.. but it can reach a 2-3% of the total for obama (4-6% of Obama over McCain).. so it could reach numbers close to 7%.

Bu  10% for Obama seems out of the question.. and that what I called a landlisde a 55-45%... now it seems far.. unless New York and California vote like... huuuuge.

It actually should expand out a fair bit.  We still don't have a whole helluva lot from the blue states that have been called, and Obama's going to walk out of Cal with a big margin.

To put it into perspective: I went to bed around this time in 2004.  Kerry was down about 10.  I woke up to find Kerry down 2.5.
