Yes, good speech by McCain. Obviously not an easy audience. Well, now he doesn't have to deal with them (the base) anymore.

Glad that wasn't the McCain we say during the campaign. It would have made it a lot more difficult to pull this off.

I don't know - I didn't like that speech. Especially the bit about it being a victory for African-Americans. And the crowd seemed... unpleasant.
