Well the polls closed a bit today after widening over the weekend. Even without the meltdown I remain staggered that anybody could vote McCain/Palin. Neither of them are competent to be let free near the White House, let alone into it.

The dKos poll widened by 3 points today after the weekend - from 4 to 7.

I think we'll see another point or two on top of that, so the final spread will be something like +8.

I figured it would.  Given a few more days, it'd probably hit 9-10.  Polls seem to have reached a consensus of about an 8-point margin.
