I love all three images you posted.
A very nice walk indeed.
Question: Would you ever consider removing the reflected power line from the 1st image, that cuts across the subject`s face?

The difference between theists and atheists is that the atheists don't set the theists on fire for refusing to agree with them.

Thanks.

Just for you:

And some more from the walk:

The title of the restaurant "Le Long Cours" seems apt:

But back here - time to relax:

Then the clouds rolled in and we had more storms.

Thank you Ted Welch,
It was more a question on how you felt about doing that.
Personally, I think the image now is beautifully striking.
I`ve heard of "purists" denouncing such doings, & I have a special spot for them, that I keep in a dark recess.

I have no problem about changing photos - I think that kind of "purism" is silly - unless it's a press photo not labelled as a "montage", etc.

I was thinking about leaving it as it was and claiming that the powerline was a reminder of how technology bisected our being, alienated us from ourselves and our past, sliced through our spirituality, etc. :-)

Good, Ted Welch,
That is why I asked, & I even wondered if you left the "alienating" line as a pointer  to the bifurcation of society, art & science, black & white etc...
It had seemed to me as too faint a demarcation, to suit the above purposes, though.

I would have gone with that ;-)

The calligraphic imperfections are what make images.

LOL!

Underpin your "argument" with a wee tad of Nietzschean Apollonian/Dionysian dichotomy,  and ya' got yourself a paper!

Now  look what you`ve done, Ms/Mr. ATinNM
The image is gone.

Not to forget electromagnetism and its profound influence on every aspect of our wicked lives. The North and South of it not only reveal the Tellurian nature of our existence, but also analogize the polarizing dichotomy of sub-atomic orientation in our brains. 'Which way is up?' is not a valid question in time/space, there is only in and out, nearer or farther.

What the powerline represents is the power of proximity.

What the powerline is, is the proximity of power.

OK that's enough - or I'll be accused again of "hijacking" the whole diary :-)
