My head hurts.

I've been trying to transcribe Jamaican dancehall into standard English. Hard work.

Who'd want to hear old, standard English when they can have live... 'Jamaican dancehall'?  Just add a video and everyone will get it.  (;

Well, I'm getting paid to do this.

As a matter of fact, I am at the end of a long "value creation chain" (to use the cant of the day. Some MdB ("MP") wants to know if many of the songs feature extreme violence, drug abuse and/or violent homophobia (the answers being, yup, yup and yup, respectively). I pass my work upstream to a colleague who translates them into German and certifies them (he having the necessary court authorization).

Is this where Jamacian Dancehall meets Procrustes in Germany?

As the Dutch said while fighting the Spanish: "It is not necessary to have hope in order to persevere."

The replies which come to mind  ... shame on me.

In the end, might makes right. Nothing has changed since the caveman.
