You might be able to get it by using the Image cursor. Use it to draw a box round the part you want, right click and choose Copy.

But it might not work...

If you have a scanner, print the pdf, scan the page you want and get a .jpg you can reduce to the quote you want.

For an old PDF or one which effectively is an image, screen capture software is best. That means you get an image, not text you can paste.

There's some decent Open S OCR software out there. I used to use OCR quite a lot, but these days it is rare that I cannot get hold of an electronic file in my work. DTP is almost universal in my business.
