I've been lucky that I have been able to ensure career progression and maintain or increase my income with each job move, so far. But, I'm reaching the salary now where it is going to be much harder for me to get jobs at a similar salary level, unless I take any opportunity that comes up even if it means leaving my current job 6 months early.  Which surely would make business sad, if workers go buggering off before contracts are up?
