'Copy' is not the same as 'copy as plain text'. When I prepare some of the links for the Salon in advance into a Word file, some of the links, like the EUobserver, do not automatically copy the headline with the rest. So I have to copy the headline separately. If I use copy, it also copies the format of the headline and messes up the wordfile and I have to reformat it. With 'copy as plain text' this did not happen.

Ah, you are copying into Word! But there is a solution to that - in Word.

When you insert a text, briefly you'll see a Paste icon next to the end of the text. If you move the mouse over it, a downwards arrow appears, with whoch you can open a pull-down menu. There you can chane it to plain text.

However, this should not really bother you, as if you re-insert your draft from Word into the ET edit window in Firefox, the Word formatting will disappear anyway.

Yes, I know, but I am lazy, and it is a few clicks more. I do like to reformat it, because it is easier to perceive the different paragraphs visually if they are formated the same way than when some of the text is huge, some bold and some small. Makes it more difficult visually to mark and copy the texts again.

I know it is not a big problem, it was just so convenient with the 'copy as plain text' possibility. :-)
