My cheeky nephew - he moves too much, I couldn't lock the focus on his eyes...

Note the expensive elastic-band-and-sheet-of-paper brand bounce set-up.

Actually, it's an entry for screwed up photos as well - I completely forgot that IR focuses in front of visible light so that setting the focus to infinity manually was not a wining scheme - the thing is completely out of focus, so that it certainly won't enlarge any bigger than that. Silly me.

Your IR attempts are much better than mine so far!

Right, Sam!  Let him believe 'it's the flashes' and 'boredom', but we know better......  (;

The others are more recent.

studying pinks is definitely the principal reason for living in i-tal-ia.

(land of valleys)

the tropical sunsets seem so over the top garish, whereas these roses and gossamer pinks destroy me, how does pink ever get so pure?

Tonopah Nev.

""

Coming off the Extraterrestrial Highway I stopped at an old spring for a smoke and a couple also on a bike stopped to check out if I was okay (it being the desert and all) then we rode on in to Tonopah.  I pulled up next to them on the outskirts of town and got this as we stopped to watch the sunset.

this one was pitch black, i hit the 'enhance' button in iphoto, and voila!

that's going to be it for i think for this week, my 'flickrexport' software is on the blink. it won't take the reg. no. and i'm waiting for tech help to get back to me. iphoto crashed hard twice yesterday, and offered me to set up with no prefs...i shoulda said no, but clicked 'yes' and now...

botheration!

another oddity, especially as the white circle that looks like the sun, isn't!

the real sun was 15 pts west and below the hill-line.

It looks like the moon two or three days short of full. Say, about the 17th or 18th of this month?

this gent kindly let me take his pic as he was waiting for his needles to be taken out.

the chiropractor uses them for healing, though he told me it's not acupuncture. similar, but different.

there was a lady, also bristling needles, who told us the story of her health breakdown, she was dizzy and nauseous to the point where she couldn't eat, lost strength and weight and could not move from her bed for 8 days. her doctors had no idea how to heal her, and then by chance she met Davide Testerini, who took her in hand, and now she's fine.

he is the son of a local dentist, who went to the states and became a chiropractor, then returned to italy, took a medical degree, and has specialised in cognitive neurology.

he used no drugs, simply giving her spinal adjustments, needle therapy and exercises.

he flies out to boston once a month to teach at harvard medical school for two weeks.

he allowed to take this snap of him. wonderful healer, man on a mission.
