A nice combo, as it turns out :-)
But I don't know about 'winning' anything....this blog has so many wonderful photographs--portraits and others.
I ran into a museum curator who actually said "Save your confederate money, for the South shall rise again." I couldn't tell if he was joking or not:-)
I'll get Mira to post here -- Thanks, that's a great idea.
All of this pre-dates me, but I was there in the mid to late 80s and still remember the Biograph. If that was your concern, kudos for bringing culture to a relative wasteland.
Don't thank me, thank my daughter and thank you! I've been scrolling through your photos and they are phenomenal...My wife and I visited the Le Marche region of Italy once and it's got the same quality of light you've captured. Just gorgeous. She studied in Perugia at the University for Foreigners and loved it.
I was born there, but adopted to the states when I was quite young. But I think if there was a place I'd ever be happy to die, it'd be Italy. I know that sounds weird, but I think it's true.
thanks for the feedback...i just catch light really.
umbria is neighbour to le marche, i can see its mountains from near where i am.
i hope you make it back again, and comps to your daughter! ~"When an inner situation is not made conscious, it appears outside as fate." Karl Jung~
