But they've been incredibly prescient and on topic for all these years, and it's good to see his voice recognised in a big(ger) name outlet today.

Their archives before 2001 don't seem to be on the net anymore, unfortunately. I've found this article from June 2000 about day laborers via the JRL. There were several other major pieces of actual on-the-ground reporting in that half year, when he'd spend a full day or more with the local police, or with a doctor in a hospital, or at a monastery. I saved this in Word version, but can't find links.
