While I knew about Nice's carnaval, I didn't know Menton had a "citron" festival ?
Tut tut :-) It's in 75th year and broke record this year with 250,000 paying visitors.

What's your camera (just curious) ?
Used to have film SLRs, Olympus and Canon. I now use Lumix LX1 - very pleased with quality in general (Leica zoom) and it will even take about 50mins of not bad video! SO many menus! - I find automatic mode fine for most pics. I take a lot more photos, as I can just put it in my pocket and carry it around most of the time. Also I'm in less danger of the back problems which affect a lot of pro phots carting round a bag of camera bodies and lenses on one shoulder :-) Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner - that I moved to Nice.
