All that needs to be produced by July 1 is an abstract, the full paper can be written between then and the Conference at the end of October.

Perhaps the subject that might interest us most would be Agriculture and market orientation, which would seem to concern trade, the Doha Round, etc. We'd need to get an "agriculture" group together, and see how we might qualify for the congress. I feel obliged to add that I have the greatest respect for agronomical engineers, and really do feel that this is a high level. But ET has perhaps, surely even, people who can help put a convincing paper together. When locusts move on, they leave nothing behind
