He also has a new book out: "A Time to Fight." He was on Keith Olbermann's Countdown Wed. where Keith asked his if he were auditioning for VP. He is the Senator for and from the Scots-Irish and he noted that Obama could make a successful appeal to them and that were he to do so successfully, he could remake American politics. Being myself at least 1/4 redneck by ancestory, I believe he is right and I believe he could be a significant factor in such an appeal As the Dutch said while fighting the Spanish: "It is not necessary to have hope in order to persevere."
